It’s YOUR life, YOU write the 5 ways to make it meaningful! Our minds are full of everyone else’s thoughts, constantly taking in what we see and hear. So much of it never takes root and becomes useless information! Is it because we don’t own what we hear? I cannot tell you how to make YOUR life meaningful, but I can encourage you to sit down, give it thought, and write 5 ways YOU will make your life more meaningful. Chances are, if you set apart the time, then you’ll probably own the list, and the chances of follow through are highly probable!

I’ll start:

1. I will take a moment every day and laugh at something that I would normally get irritated with! Laughing makes me feel better, and it just might make someone else laugh who was about to get angry or cry.

2. I will remind myself when I feel overwhelmed that the trials I am facing will pass. Not focusing strictly on the trials allows me to see beyond my own circumstances, and broadens my perspective about life.

3. I will keep my eyes open to share my life lessons with someone who might need it. Sharing brings purpose to my pain. The world is full of hurting people, and many are experiencing similar trials.

4. I will sacrifice at least one thing on my list of things I want to do for the day, for something someone else wants to do instead! It just feels good to think of someone else other than ME!

5. I will not take my relationship with Jesus for granted! He is the author and finisher of my faith. He sustains me through all trials, and never leaves me at my darkest moments, or during my greatest victories. HE is the One who gave me purpose. He is more than my God, He is my friend. Remembering what He has done for me, makes appreciating Him all the more easier.

Now, that you’ve read mine… share with me yours!

So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
