Have we really found ourselves at the end of our twelfth month of the year? The thought leaves my head spinning! Or maybe that’s just the eggnog withdraw!
Over the past few weeks I have caught myself focused on all the all the things I didn’t get done this a year. I’ve been discouraged by my unmet goals and failed plans. And I’ve found myself overwhelmed by trying to planned next years calendar! Saddened by it all, I diagnosed myself with a bad case of diswhelmed, you know discouraged + overwhelmed all at the same time! My symptoms: it was sucking all of the joy right out of me! My cure: Change my focus!
I decided to let go of what didn’t happen in 2014 and push aside my list of what I need to do in 2015, and take a moment and thank God for EVERYTHING He did through our incredible team over the past 12 months. Would you take a walk down memory lane with me?
We kicked off 2014 with a workshop of 600 woman who made a declaration to step out in faith even if they had to just do it afraid! We also saw 60 women give their lives to Christ that day!
We then moved into an online study group where men and woman from 26 different states and two countries studied together the principals on how to strengthen ourselves in the Lord.
Then we tried our hand at an online workshop, the first in our ministries’ history! We filled it to capacity and 5 women gave their lives to the Lord!
We hosted seven new writers in our Health Remade and Faith Over Fear blog series, to include Lisa-Jo Baker the author of Surprised By Motherhood and radio show host and author Susie Larson. We also added two new contributing writers to our team, Brandi Rennemeyer from Faith 2 Shine, and Karla Lees from Hope in His Presence.
Also, God opened the door for us to take our workshops to other churches and we shared the message God has given us! We co-hosted an event with over 100 women at a local church in our home town, and have already scheduled two for 2015!
The hardest part of the year was saying goodbye to a few our our beloved team members. It taught me to everything there is a season. However, God is always doing something new and He’s blessed us with great connections and brand-new relationships!
So there you have it! Some of our highlights of 2014! Not too bad for a ministry that started in my living room with 30 women. God moves us along not at the pace of our desires, but at the timing of His sovereign will. I can look back on so many moments and know had God given me exactly what I wanted when, I wanted it I would have publicly face planted before the world! I am so gracious for His timing, His mercy, and His grace!
So, if the closing of the new year has you suffering from being diswhelmed, the cure is to exchange it for a walk down memory lane. Remind yourself of all the things you DID accomplish by the power of the Holy Spirit and the grace of God! It’s the best restorer of joy!
Now that I’ve gotten all that off my chest! It’s back to the drawing board for 2015! We have some exciting and mind blowing things taking place! Several workshops, a book launch, and an online study group to just name a few! Make sure you sign up for our newsletter to get all the latest first! Plus you get a cool prayer card just because you’re cool and signed up!
Happy New Year,
Beth!
What a beautiful jaunt down memory lane! And Praise God for the bounty of fruit in this ministry! I am reminded yet again of how glorious His hand is, His master plan really does take the cake – even if I think my plans are grand, they pale in comparison. This – This settled deep in my heart today.
“God moves us along not at the pace of our desires, but at the timing of His sovereign will.”
Cheers to a beautiful year and Here Here to a New Year of new adventures.

Thanks Brandi. One of the hardest things is for me to remind myself not only are his ways perfect, but so is his timing!
