This week I’ve started three different blogs, and I get to the end where I want to close and publish, but I just can’t! I mean I could have talked about what was going on in my life, or picked a random topic, but I couldn’t get all of you out of my mind… I was wondering what was going on with you this week. I was wondering what type of things are impacting your lives. What season are you in? I imaged what we would talk about if we went for coffee.
I remember when I lived in Florida, and how desperately I wished I had girlfriends or a mentor to hang out with. I wanted someone to share with that I didn’t feel I was bothering. Those years in Florida were some of the loneliest times of my life. I had a friend who had a spiritual mom, and I’d listen to her speak about this woman, and wish so much that I had one. A regular prayer in my life, during that time, was asking the Lord if He’d bring me girlfriends to hang with and a spiritual mom. I longed to go to someone who I could just talk to and not feel judged or condemned. I so desired someone who would listen, love, and encourage me as I learned how to be a woman of God.
Thinking about that time in Florida, about all of you, and wondering what was going on in your lives has really prevented me from posting this week. I just didn’t feel like I wanted to talk about me, or what was going on in my life… I wanted to know how YOU are! I was wishing I could invite you all over for coffee by my pool!
I know I can’t literally have coffee with all of you, but I would love to get to know you, pray with you, and share dialog with you. So, I invite you to do a virtual coffee with me!
Do you have a topic you’d like to know about? Would you like to share what season you are in? Can I pray for you? Feel free to drop me a private message under the “Let’s Talk” tab on the home page. Or feel free to leave a post about something you’d like to talk about over coffee…
Relationship building is something I love to do. I love to hang with women, and I love to share what is going on in our lives! Having coffee alone is fun once in awhile, but I really want to have coffee with some friends… what do you say? Let’s do coffee…
The heartfelt counsel of a friend is as sweet as perfume and incense. Proverbs 27:9
This really blessed my heart, being in a place that having coffee alone happens more often than I like. Thanks!
Thanks Sharon for commenting. Feel free to drop me a line and we can do a “virtual coffee” anytime! 🙂
