Stepping Out Onto The Water
We walk by faith and not by sight. 2 Cor. 5:7
Some days the dream is bigger than one can consume, the obstacles higher than one can see over, and the hill steeper than one can climb. On those days, our words will determine whether we move forward or stay frozen in fear. Our confession of faith will be the first motion to bring our emotions into cadence with the call.
Perhaps you’re struggling to convince yourself to take that step out onto the water. I totally get that friend. I’m going to grab your hand, and together we’re stepping out of this boat. Side by side we’ll walk onto that water together. Our eyes fixed on Jesus. Today, declare with me, out loud, those things that are not as though they are. Even if the only one who hears it is your aching heart.
I DECLARE
I am who God says I am.
His word is true.
I will do what He has called me to do.
He is working all things together for my good.
I do not worry.
For He has provided my every need.
I do not fear shame.
For I have trusted in His name.
I will not stumble.
For He has ordered my steps.
Greater is He who is in me than He who is in the world.
He is not a man that He should lie.
And all His promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus.
I am chosen
Set apart
A royal priest
A child
Redeemed
Called
Loved and set free!
Now GO friend, let’s walk on that water!
I would love to know where are you struggling to trust God so that I can pray for you. In the mean time, write out your biggest fear and ask God to reveal His truth.
